If travelling by train, Chicheley Hall is just half an hour from London Euston and a 15 minute drive from Milton Keynes Central Station.  By car it is 1.5hrs from central London, just five minutes from junction 14 on the M1.

Chicheley Hall is a unique and historically significant Grade I listed Georgian country house located in the heart of Buckinghamshire. Set within 80 acres of grounds, the venue features 2 lecture halls for approximately 100 delegates each, 3 meeting rooms for 20-25 delegates and 47 bedrooms.

Chicheley Hall offers a number of dedicated event spaces to suit many meeting room set-up requirements. The Wolfson Centre located in the Grade II listed coach house offers a self contained meeting facility for groups of up to 100 in each of its 2 lecture theatres.  This building features a double height ceiling and retains its original features to provide a lofty, atmospheric location for a lecture style meeting. It comes complete with a glazed atrium area that may be used for registration and breaks.

Three similar sized meeting rooms are located within the Grade I listed Main House holding up to around 20 in a boardroom style.

47 bedrooms are offered within the Main House and North and South wings has a mixture of twins, doubles and singles. 13 of these rooms are within the Main House and are reminiscent of Chicheley Hall's original former days. Bedrooms in the wings are furnished in a more modern style.

Wedding receptions, dinners and other social events are welcomed at Chicheley Hall with guests able to make the most of their splendid surroundings.  Intimate and exclusive wedding receptions may be held within the Main House with guests using the Bar, Sitting Room and Dining Room areas for drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts and photos. In fine weather guests may be entertained in what was once the formal garden, complete with its vast lawns and inset seating area.  Marquee structures are available by prior agreement.

Caterers Harbour and Jones are based at Chicheley Hall providing tasty, seasonal and inventive dishes. The staff have vast experience in making relevant suggestions but are equally happy to work with specific requirements.  Where possible small, local suppliers are used to provide delicious ingredients.

A leadership gift from The Kavli Foundation enabled the Royal Society to purchase the 18th century building where the Kavli Royal Society International Centre was created – a facility dedicated to the advancement of science. The Kavli Foundation, based in California, was established in 2000 by its benefactor and chairman, Fred Kavli, a prominent business leader and noted philanthropist. The Kavli Foundation is dedicated to advancing science for the benefit of humanity through an international program of research institutes, professorships, and symposia.  The Royal Society holds its own programme of events at the centre but it is available to let outside of this activity, with profits going back into the Royal Society to fund scientific progress.
